Nine Steps To Massive Website Traffic For Your Home Business

In the online internet home business we all know that traffic is our business. Without massive amounts of visitors we don’t stand a chance of making enough sales to build a successful online business. So the repeated question is always “how do you drive traffic to your website?”
There are nine proven steps that every home business owner can use to build a list and draw traffic to their website. Most of these steps are free or low cost. Some of them are simple and easy to do, other are more challenging.
However don’t let that scary you away from any of them. If you feel uncomfortable with any of them there any plenty of good reputable companies you can outsource those tasks to and still make it profitable to do so.

#1: Write an article.
Write an article with good content regarding your product or service. The article needs to be between 300 and 500 words long. Your article should always contain valuable information for the reader.
It does not always have to be about your product or niche but should have a way to tie back to your business opportunity. For example your article could be about dog travel cages and your business is travel. You can write about the best ones that add comfort for the dog, and are cost efficient, while traveling with you to your discount travel destinations. See how that works?

#2: Submit your Article.
Once you have your article written you need to submit it. You know something about submitting articles since you might very well be reading this on or from an article submission site. Either way you can search on article submission and find many free sites to join.
Before you submit the article make sure you have good resource box content for your business promotion. Most sites allow you to promote your product or service within the resource box. Take advantage of this, it’s a great way to get traffic to your site.

#3: Rework Your Article into a Press Release and then Submit.
Rework your article content into a press release. A press release needs to be more like an announcement rather than just news or helpful topics like most articles.
You can pay to have your Press Release distributed or you can manually post to the free sites. Either way this is great exposure for your home business.

#4: Rework Your Article into a Video.
Your next step is to rework your article into a video. The results you get from video submissions are fantastic. The Big 3 (Google, Yahoo, MSN) are trying to turn the internet into the next television, so videos get ranked very high. If this is not your idea of fun, have it outsourced.
You will need to spend some money here for audio equipment and a camcorder. You don’t need much to get started.

#5: Submit video.
Now you're ready to begin submitting your videos to video submission websites. Most of these sites are free, just time consuming to post and up load your video. So be prepared to sit and wait.
Or if you would rather upload once there are sites you can pay to have this done for you.

#6: Turn your audio into a Pod Cast.
Apple has taken pod casting mainstream by building everything you need to find, subscribe to, manage, and listen to pod casts right in iTunes. You can publish your podcast to iTunes and reach a potential audience of millions.

#7: Create your blog entry.
Blogging your content will help you create another media to pass your information. Blog’s are seen differently by the search engines. They are indexed much faster…
This should be easy since you already have your information complete.

#8: Create a Social Media post
If you’re not into social media yet you need to be. This is no longer just for teens. A Facebook survey states the average age on their site is 25, and more baby boomers are registering everyday.
Most sites allow you to advertise your home business in some manner. Make sure you read the rules and get started today. This a great source to reach hundreds of thousands of people free.

#9: Bookmark Your Video Links
A social bookmarking site is just like using the bookmark tab in your browser. It bookmarks the sites you're interested in.

Bookmarking sites in your niche helps you become an authority in your niche and builds relationships.
